Slower reaction time

Your brain function slows down so that you cannot take action to changing situations, make decisions or react quickly.

Poor Judgment

Alcohol alters your awareness of depth. You could also have difficult to judging your speed and that of other vehicles or pedestrians. You may also have difficulty driving in a straight line.

Poor Concentration

Alcohol impairs a driver’s ability to concentrate on the multiple tasks involved in driving such as speed position other traffic on the road tuning the radio and participating in conversation with passengers

Poor coordination

Reduced eye or hand or foot coordination can be caused by drinking too much alcohol. For example you might not brake fast enough if you meet an unexpected obstacle on the road

Impaired vision and hearing

Alcohol can slow eye muscle function and effect eye movement. You tend to focus on the road ahead and not see what is happening in the margin. You may not hear the sound of a car horn either.
